The American Dream and UXA- Thomas Seltzers Amerika

Warming up:

  • Have you already heard the expression the American Dream? What does it mean? Find a definition on the internet.

  • Where do you find the Statue of Liberty (Frihetsgudinnen), and what does this statue represent?

  • How many states are there in the USA, and where do you find the states named Wisconsin and Michigan?

  • Do you know what a blue-collar worker is? If not, read the definition here.

  • What do you know about the differences between Democrats and Republicans in the USA? Till next time, you may watch this video that gives you more information about these differences.

Then - watch the first episode of UXA- Thomas Seltzers Amerika (probably only available in Norway).

Answer these questions while watching the episode.
